[wip/genomix] Update to 1.1

Changes since 1.0:
 . Update "load" request syntax for passing arbitrary arguments to client
   init()
 . Try to open a "plugin.sö if dlopen'ing "plugin" fails
 . Implement C client API 20130319 ("exceptions")
 . Fix two error messages using strerror(3) instead of dlerror(3)
