[wip/transgen3] Release version 1.0b3

Make sure OPs and functions are unique with respect to transgen2 and transgen3.
Change to take into account the new exception mechanism.
Properly handle exception.
Now register the module fdevent fd so we can select it and wake only when there
is something to read.
